Margaret River - A Relaxing Day

Today we spent a relaxing day in the town of Margaret River.

Our first port of call was the local farmers market, full of locally grown produce from the surrounding area.

There was a good selection of fruit, veg, wine, breads, cheeses etc available.

We next explored the town centre of Margaret River. In simple terms the Bussell Highway runs through middle of the town, and this road is lined with shops. There are some premises on the side streets, but not many.

Its quite clearly a main street that caters for tourists and holidaymakers.

At the moment its chaos because the main road is being dug up to lay large new concrete drains.

Later in the day we took a walk along the Margaret River before being visited by the local ring necked parrots.
